Every story begins with love — and for Amna and Junaid, that love began at home.

Amna Junaid, a Biotechnology graduate and proud Global UGRAD alumna, has years of experience working in the NGO and development sector. But beyond her professional achievements, she has always been an artist at heart. During her time in the United States, she studied Arts as her major, discovering how creativity can bridge cultures and express emotions that words cannot.

Zarri Dhaaga was born from that same belief — that art, love, and purpose can come together to create something timeless. The brand is named after Amna’s mother, Zarri, a woman whose hands have spent years stitching not just clothes, but dreams. Her strength and perseverance inspired Amna to transform her mother’s lifelong skill into something bigger — a brand that celebrates women, heritage, and craftsmanship.

Standing beside her in this journey is Junaid Raza, also a Global UGRAD alumnus, who brings over six years of corporate experience along with his passion for community development and nonprofit work. Junaid has always believed in empowering local talent and building ventures that carry a deeper purpose. Together, Amna and Junaid founded Zarri Dhaaga not just as a business — but as a shared dream stitched with love and dedication.

Zarri Dhaaga is more than a clothing brand. It’s a daughter’s tribute to her mother’s strength, a couple’s vision to preserve traditional art, and a reminder that beauty doesn’t need to be expensive to be meaningful. Each piece is thoughtfully designed by Amna and lovingly handcrafted by her mother — two generations creating with heart, supported by Junaid’s vision to bring their art to the world.
